Pitso Mosimane disappointed in Saudi Arabia

South Africa‘s greatest-ever coach, Pitso Mosimane, is struggling at Abha Club in Saudi Arabia.

ABHA CLUB LOSE ANOTHER GAME UNDER PITSO MOSIMANE

It was never going to be easy. The former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss moved to Abha to attempt a rescue mission.

Pitso Mosimae signed a short-term contract to save Abha from relegation. The Kagiso-born coach has unfortunately earned one win in four games.

His first game was a 1-1 draw with Al-Taawoun. The second game was 3-2 loss to Al-Fayha, followed by a 2-0 victory Al-Tai before Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Al-Ettifaq for Pitso Mosimane.

There’s still to hope for, though. The Saudi Pro League has 11 games to go. Abha’s side are five points away from safety.

NEXT MATCH

Coming up next for Pitso Mosimane is a game on Thursday. Abha take on Al Wehda FC at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Almahalah Abha.

The following game will be a trip to a fellow struggling side, Al-Riyadh SC, on 30 March. Six points could propel Abha as high as 12th position in the Saudi Pro League.
