Jingles backing Johnson for Kaizer Chiefs

Current interim Kaizer Chiefs boss Cavin Johnson is being backed by Pitso Mosimane to be appointed in the role permanently. A number of big names have been thrown into the hat for the top job at Naturena, including that of Mosimane. Jingles believes Johnson has all the experience required to excel. The duo worked together at Al Ahly

“Coach Cavin Johnson is the head of youth at Kaizer Chiefs and he is just filling in (as the head coach), we all know that and he said it himself,” said Mosimane in a press conference organized by the South African Football Journalists’ Association.

“We can’t talk about his role as senior coach when he is at the youth because that is probably what he wants, I can’t on his behalf.

“Maybe we need to ask him, after working with me and getting all that he has earned at Al Ahly with us, playing against Bayern Munich and all those teams. Is it good is good enough for him to succeed.”

Pitso Mosimane is not in a rush

Mosimane, who is currently taking a hiatus from football management after having his Al Wahda contract terminated, is in no rush to get back to coaching. Instead, he’s focusing on spending time with his family. He did, however, allude to the potential possibility of joining the Nigeria Football Federation. The Super Eagles are currently struggling under boss José Peseiro.
