JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida women’s soccer is excited to recognize the signing of strong incoming freshmen as announced by head coach Eric Faulconer and staff.
Six of the seven incoming Ospreys arrive from the Sunshine State, with one hailing from South Carolina.
“We are adding seven freshmen to our program that I believe are going to make a difference. They are accomplished players, leaders, high character people and great students. This group is going to be the core of this program for years to come, making the direction we are headed very exciting for our staff. Twelve of our 18 games last year concluded as a draw or decided by one goal. We outshot our opponent and had more shots on goal in fourteen of those 18 games. Unfortunately, we struggled to find that margin of difference to have a more successful 2023 season. I really believe this recruiting class, in addition to our returners, are going to help us find that margin.” Head coach Eric Faulconer
