Kaizer Chiefs top boss fires warning at PSL rivals!

Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jnr has warned that the club are planning to take things to the next level.

The Glamour Boys welcomed a number of heavyweight new signings ahead of the current season, but there’s still more to come according to the top boss.

Chiefs are going all out to end their lengthy eight year trophy drought and return the glory days back to Naturena.

Kaizer Chiefs are not done yet – Motaung Jnr

“We’re very confident of the squad we’ve assembled. We’re not finished in any regard, we’re always looking to evolve and take things to the next level.” – Motaung Jnr told FARPost.

“Everyone who’s associated with the badge, we’re asking our supporters to come on board and support the guys. Be that 12th man, we need them. We hear them and understand where they’re coming from.”

In other news, Orlando Pirates legend Joseph Kamwendo believes he’s ready to coach in South Africa.

The former Buccaneers midfielder, who represented the club between 2007 and 2011, has confirmed his desire to coach in the Premier Soccer League.

Joseph Kamwendo has obtained his necessary coaching licences and is currently coaching back home in the Malawi top flight at Bangwe All Stars.

“Whether it’s as an assistant coach at a Premiership side or I can start as a head coach at a Motsepe Foundation side. I am well qualified to coach there.” Joseph Kamwendo told SoccerLaduma.

“I know and respect the requirements of coaching in South Africa. So I had to prepare myself first before saying I am ready for that.

“Now, I can say ‘I am ready’. I would be very happy if I can be given the chance at my former team Orlando Pirates but I wouldn’t mind coaching any other team.”
