Kaizer Chiefs defender Austin Dube has NOT reported for Pre-Season!

The Glamour Boys are back in training ahead of next season however a first team defender, who’s still currently a Glamour Boy, hasn’t returned to the club.

Chiefs officially confirmed the departure of Eric Mathoho, Phathutshedzo Nange and Cole Alexander while Siyabonga Ngezana secured a move to Romania.

Defender Austin Dube is yet to report for pre-season and is reportedly currently negotiating his way out of his contract at Naturena!

Austin Dube not part of Kaizer Chiefs’ pre-season camp

“Yes Mazola you are correct, Austin hasn’t been part of the group that started training this week,” his agent Basia Michaels told SABC SPORT journalist Mazola Molefe.

“It’s the unfortunate side of football but it’s a reality of the game.”

In other news, Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Dumisani Zuma looks set to be a free agent once again.

The former Bloemfontein Celtic star was released by Chiefs at the end of last season due to reported disciplinary issues.

Football is an unforgiving sport, especially when it comes to discipline however AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu rushed to give the Amakhosi bad-boy a second chance.

Zuma however failed to re-pay his boss with anything on the field of play, scoring just one goal in 23 appearances for Usuthu.

The latest reports suggest the club have run out of patience with him and he’s on his way out at AmaZulu. Zuma spent just one season at the club, after joining them from Kaizer Chiefs.

“Dumisani Zuma is expected to leave AmaZulu upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June having failed to stop a disappointing trend about his game time contribution.” a SoccerLaduma report read.
