Mamelodi Sundowns agree terms to sign Brazilian attacker – report

Mamelodi Sundowns have reportedly agreed terms to sign a red-hot Brazilian attacker who plies his trade in Belgium with SK Beveren.

JUST IN: MAMELODI SUNDOWNS UNVEIL SHOCK SIGNING

According to a report by iDiski Times, Sundowns are closing in on Lucas Ribeiro Costa, and it could be a matter of time before he’s unveiled.

The publication reports that Costa will arrive in South Africa early next week, and that will be on time for their trip to the Netherlands.

Costa is a versatile attacker with goals under his belt, and he proved himself in two different countries across Europe – France and Belgium.

Just last season, Costa netted 11 goals and registered eight assists in 33 games across all competitions for Beveren.

MAMELODI SUNDOWNS AGREE TO SIGN BRAZILIAN ATTACKER – REPORT

“Mamelodi Sundowns have agreed to sign Brazilian forward Lucas Ribeiro Costa from Belgian club SK Beveren.

“iDiski Times understands they have now landed their man, with the player set to arrive early next month before their pre-season trip to the Netherlands which is confirmed for 17 to 29 July.”

LESIBA NKU IS MAMELODI SUNDOWNS’ FIRST OFFICIAL SIGNING

Meanwhile, Sundowns on Thursday unveiled Lesiba Nku of Marumo Gallants as their first official signing of the transfer window.

According to Sundowns, Nku (27) signed a long-term deal with the club, and more signings are expected at Chloorkop.
