According to popular ITK source UnplayableZA, the Buccaneers are close to completing a deal for highly-rated Golden Arrows defender Sicelo Hlatshwatyo. He’s been on their radar for some time, so Bucs fans will be glad the club is close to sealing a switch for him. The 29-year-old is a central defender by trade but can fill in at full-back if required.

Bucs complete two medicals with Hlatshwayo to follow

The Buccaneers were at Tuks High Performance centre on Monday complete medicals for Melusi Buthelezi and Siphelo Baloni. Pirates fans will be eager to see more incoming deals, especially after Chiefs reportedly beat them to the signature of Pule Mmodi. Hlatshwayo is certainly a step in the right direction, and will become Jose Riveiro’s third acquisition of the window.
