Axed Kaizer Chiefs man signs for PSL rivals!

Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange has already secured his next club!

The former Bidvest Wits midfielder was officially released by the Glamour Boys on Wednesday after struggling for game-time at Naturena.

Reports however suggest, he immediately put pen-to-paper at a rival PSL club after being shown the door at the Glamour Boys!

Nange has re-united with former coach Gavin Hunt at SuperSport United! The former Black Leopards midfielder made 32 appearances under Gavin Hunt in the past, scoring four goals and assisting a further four!

According to reputable local publication Unplayable, Phathutshedzo Nange has joined SuperSport United!

Arthur Zwane’s Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Dillon Sheppard is set to travel to Ireland to complete his coaching badges.

The former Bidvest Wits youth coach is set to join an elite list of South African coaches by obtaining the UEFA Pro License coaching licence.

Sheppard joined the Glamour Boys in 2021 when Gavin Hunt was appointed as head coach at the club.

He remained on as an assistant coach following the departure of Hunt, serving under both Stuart Baxter and Arthur Zwane.

Amakhosi assistant coach to obtain UEFA Pro licence

“Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Dillon Sheppard is set to make his way to Ireland where he will complete his coaching badges.” a SoccerLaduma report read.

“‘Sheppy’ as the former winger is affectionately known, will travel to Ireland where he will study for his UEFA Pro License coaching badge.

“The retired winger will be in Europe for close to two weeks to complete a coaching course to earn the world-recognised coaching license.”
