Nabi-Chiefs edging closer to a done deal, Zwane set for exit

Nasreddine Nabi and Kaizer Chiefs seem to be edging closer to agreed terms, which could spell the end of Arthur Zwane’s head coach tenure.

According to SABC Sport, Chiefs seem willing to accept a compromise in order to secure the services of Nabi, who has become their No 1 target in terms of a blockbuster new coaching appointment.

The report suggests that the Chiefs have “have decided to replace their beleaguered incumbent Arthur Zwane ahead of the next season”, and are now willing to compromising when it comes to allowing Nabi to bring in at least some of his own support staff.

Apparently the club would be open to the option of the Tanzanian coach bringing up to two members of staff in his desired departments.

Increasingly, it seems that Zwane may not have a future with the senior team, while it remains to be seen what the future holds for Dillon Sheppard.
