After suffering the great heartbreak of relegation last Wednesday, Maritzburg United will now earn a monthly grant of R750 000 instead of R2.5 million.

Meanwhile, Travis Graham have announced leaving the Blue Army.

“As my time with the Maritzburg United comes to an end, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the experiences and memories that I will always cherish,” Graham announced via social media.

“I know that each and every one of us gave our all on the pitch and fought until the very end to save our club, but unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to grow as a player and as a person. I will carry the lessons that I have learned here with me and I will always look back on my time with this club with fondness and pride.

“Thank you again for everything and farewell,” Graham concluded.
