Former Orlando Pirates wizard now playing for amateur team!

Former Orlando Pirates maestro Thabo Rakhale is currently playing for his local amateur football side.

The Vaal born dribbling wizard has been unemployed for over a year now, after parting ways with Sekhukhune United during the 2021/22 campaign.

Rakhale spent five years at the Buccaneers where he dazzled fans with his flicks and tricks but ever since leaving the club, things just haven’t gone according to plan.

Ex Orlando Pirates wizard remains unemployed

“I’ve been training and playing with a local team called Ben 10 and as for the teams, I haven’t heard from anyone. Maybe it’s because the season just ended.” the former Orlando Pirates man told FARPost.

“So I had trials with Platinum City Rovers and things were going well until I stopped because I had personal matters I needed to sort out.

“Emotionally not having a team was frustrating at first but with the support structure I have, it became a lot easier to accept that everything can’t go your way all the time.”

In other news, interest is pouring in for an Orlando Pirates attacker who’s set to leave the club.

The Ghanaian attacker joined the Buccaneers in 2021 from King Faisal FC. Despite scoring nine goals in his opening season at the club, Peprah was shipped out on loan to Maritzburg United.

Peprah struggled to impress at Maritzburg United who are on the brink of getting relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

There is some good news though for Peprah with Tanzanian giants Azam FC and Young Africans both interested in signing him!
