Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has finally revealed his secret to success.

The 53-year-old Spanish manager said the secret to his success was having world-class players like Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland in his team.

Pep has already won two trophies with Man City this season and is looking to win the club’s first ever treble when his side face Inter Milan in the final of the Champions League on Saturday evening.

Pep’s trump card is no doubt Erling Haaland but the striker has been off form in his past few games.

The Norwegian ‘Cyborg” has scored 52 goals in 52 games in his first season with the Citizens but he has failed to score in his last three matches.

Pep not worried about Haaland’s form ahead of the final

“I’m not here to discuss the average for Haaland scoring goals. If you have doubts about that you are a lonely person,” Guardiola told the media ahead of the final.

“I don’t have doubts, tomorrow he will be ready to help us win the Champions League,” Pep added.

When responding to a question of what makes his successful, Pep said his players were what gave him so much success.

“Have good players. Have Messi in the past, have Haaland now. This is my success. I’m not joking,” said the Catalan.

.”Let them feel that alone they cannot do it, together we are a strong team. We have the same idea. The guys who follow me will be here, the guys who don’t won’t be here. Every manager with success has a strong institution and good players. A manager has never scored a goal,” Pep said.

The Catalan has never tasted Champions League with City having come close in 2021.
