When it comes to exit talk, Phathutshedzo Nange has been regularly linked with a departure from Chiefs, and according to KickOff, Nange is one of the players soon set to officially bid farewell to the club.

He has been strongly linked to SuperSport, with coach Gavin Hunt apparently interested in his services as planning begins to bolster their squad for next season.

Meanwhile, Cole Alexander is set to also be confirmed as one of the departing players from Naturena.

In the coming weeks, announcements on Khama Billiat and Itumeleng Khune are expected as well, with plenty of speculation having done the rounds when it comes to their respective future.

Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane is apparently keen for Billiat remain at the club, but it remains to be seen how negotiations progress, and whether he would accept a pay cut if that is indeed a condition for him to stay.

When it comes to Khune, it’s likely that he will receive an extension.

In recognition of Mathoho’s loyalty and commitment to Amakhosi, Motaung expressed his gratitude and respect for the player, and the man: “I must say I am very proud, and thankful, that Tower came in. He is a very good example, in terms of his behaviour and his demeanour. He plugged the gaps that we had at the time. The contribution he has made is significant.”
